Boswell was retained to provide site engineering services for The Verdana at Howell, a 220-unit residential development in Howell, NJ. The design included the incorporation of a clubhouse, swimming pool, playground, and other amenities.
The project required a Major Access Permit from the NJDOT which included modifying the signal and jughandle at the Route 9 access point. Further permits were required by the Ocean County Utilities Authority and NJDEP for the construction of a new sanitary pumping station and 2,500-foot force main to service the development. Boswell was responsible for the preparation of site plans, stormwater management design, regulatory permitting, and utility layout for the 30-acre site.
The Verdana at Howell is regarded as one of the premier upscale rental properties in the market, and was the recipient of the 2014 Community of the Year Award from the NJ Builder’s Association
