La Faso Memorial Field is a high-tech, multi-use recreation complex with 90,000 square feet of synthetic turf playing surface.

This project was designed using United States Soccer Foundation (USSF) specs and was partially funded by a grant from the USSF. The facility is utilized for soccer, football, and baseball, and includes a “Field of Dreams” diamond for special needs athletes. The “Field of Dreams” has been constructed with a special soft cushioned infield surface and is suited for use by players using walkers or wheelchairs. Boswell was responsible for the layout and design of the field, as well as preparation of the bid documents.

La Faso Memorial Field was selected as the recipient of the “Municipal Project of the Year” award by the New Jersey Society of Municipal Engineers in the Parks/Recreation category
