Project entailed removing and replacing the existing 34.5kV E5 transmission line between the JCP&L Gillette and Green Village substations. All new wood pole structures and roughly 6 miles of new conductor and OPGW were installed. All existing distribution under build was transferred to the new pole structures. Relay upgrades were performed at the JCP&L Gillette and Green Village substations. Access roads were installed and removed upon completion of the project which were particularly difficult to maintain as the project was constructed through the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge.
