The goal of this transmission system initiative is to create and build a stronger, smarter, and more secure system by, Upgrading/Replacing Aging Equipment, Improving Operational Flexibility, Increasing System Performance.
Energize 365 requires the completion of 600-700 projects per year. Boswell has provided valued support for the past ten years and continues to be engaged in this program. Our culture of engineering excellence and performance has earned us an invitation to support the next major FirstEnergy capital investment program: Clean Energy Corridor. In 2022, JCP&L was awarded construction responsibility to connect clean energy generated by NJ’s offshore wind farms to the transmission system. This project represents a $1.1B investment through 2035. JCP&L’s portion supports NJ’s Clean Energy Plan by delivering Wind Power to customers with minimum community impact.
