Boswell was responsible for preliminary environmental studies during the due diligence process prior to the Borough’s purchase of the property. This task included limited site investigation at several areas of potential concern and an asbestos survey of the existing warehouse building.

Services also included the design of a new fueling station including underground storage tanks, a fuel management system and an oil water separator. Upon completion of the final design and contractor selection, Boswell provided construction management services, including part-time inspection and contract close-out.

The project is an example of a successful redevelopment effort through the repositioning of an underutilized infill site. The new satellite Department of Public Works garage has become an important asset to the Borough, providing support services to local residents on a daily basis.
