This $4.5 Million project consisted of the demolition of the existing facility and the construction of a new 12,230 S.F. education, gift shop and reptile exhibit building. Duties included facilitating the coordination of three (3) contractors in order to all work within the same job-site simultaneously. The structure included the construction of spread footings with CMU walls with both timber roof trusses and decorative engineered wood trusses. This project further included two (2) new HVAC units with a return air plenum system. This system has multiple controls due to the variety of animal environments in the complex. This project also included the installation of a new telephone system which controls the entire facility, a new fire suppression system and a fire and burglary monitoring system and major drainage improvements.
